Wipro Limited – Setup Configuration Specialist (Trainee)

Role Overview:

As a Setup Configuration Specialist (SCS) Trainee at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for configuring and testing Alight’s proprietary Total Benefit Administration™ (TBA) System. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and gain valuable experience in systems configuration and testing related to human resource functions support systems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Technical and Domain Knowledge (80%): In this role, you will apply your technical and domain knowledge to configure and test the TBA System. This includes setting up tables, parameters, and ensuring that the system aligns with the specific requirements of our clients. You will also be responsible for preparing test cases and ensuring that the system functions smoothly.
• Communication (10%): Effective communication is key. You will actively participate in team huddles, meetings, and maintain communication channels through tools like Maestro, email, and Lync. You will also engage in regular client team interactions to ensure clear communication.
• Operations and Support (5%): Providing support for operations, other services, and shared services is part of the role. You will ensure that system configuration and testing processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement (5%): At Wipro, we value innovation. You will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing client and organization initiatives aimed at process improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent work experience in an analytical area.
• Preferred qualifications include a B. Tech (any specialization), BCA, or MCA degree.
• Graduates with relevant computer diplomas are also welcome to apply.
• An interest in Health and Welfare (HW) Technology and systems supporting human resource functions is a definite plus.
• Strong logical reasoning and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
