Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction:
As the Front-end Developer you will be key member in a cross-functional team developing Generative AI applications for the bank. You will be responsible for the development of front-end frameworks and code to give our customers the best user experience.
What will you be doing?
• Front-end application development using React, HTML, CSS.
• Conduct UX testing and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team of engineers and developers to develop and deploy Generative AI products within the bank.
What we’re looking for:
A developer with a passion for developing applications with fantastic UX. You are a collaborative team player who likes to get hands-on in the development of technical products. As a dedicated professional you will stay up to date with the latest technologies to inform and influence your team.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Bachelors in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstratable front-end experience.
• Proficiency in a front-end framework (preferably ReactJS).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience in State Management (Redux).
• UI/UX Experience
• DevOps Experience
